Villa with private pool to rent in Sardinia. The villa is located 300 m away from the gorgeous Genn’e Mari beach in Torre delle Stelle
Villa Ami is a gorgeous villa with private pool to rent in Sardinia. It has been built 6 years ago by my husband in the renown sea side community called Torre delle Stelle. The villa has the benefit of a private pool with salted water and it is located 300 m from the nearest sandy beach called Genn’e Mari. The distance from the nearest restaurant/pizzeria and shops is of only 100 m.
Accommodation is on 2 floors and comprises of:
- dining living room with fully equipped cooking area;;
- guest cloakroom.
- master bedroom with en suite shower room;
- twin bedroom;
- single bedroom;
- family bathroom.
Each bedroom has its own balcony.
The outside space is mostly paved and it is very safe for children of all ages. The pool is visible from all the bedrooms and from the living room. As a result parents will be able to relax whilst keeping an eye on their children.
This villa with private pool to rent in Sardinia is part of the sought after village called ‘Torre delle Stelle’. This literally means the ‘Tower of the stars’ after the ancient tower that dominates the whole area. All the streets take their name from stars and constellations.
The villa has been built to a high standard in compliance with the most recent Italian regulations in terms of health and safety. The position it occupies is particularly happy as it is at very short walking distance from all the local amenities. The nearest bar, shop & restaurant are in fact 100 m away. The nearest white and sandy beach is 300 m away which are walkable even with young children). , and from the local park.
Torre delle Stelle is an environmentally protected area and its beauty has been enchanting visitors since it was created 40 years ago. It has now become one of the most sought after areas of South Sardinia. Torre delle Stelle has 2 easily accessible sandy beaches, Genn’e Mari and Cannesisa. It also boasts a few sandy and rocky coves that you can reach either swimming or by boat.
There are shops, restaurants, bars and pizzerias in the village. However, since Torre delle Stelle is only partly inhabited all year round the shops and restaurants have different opening times throughout the year. They open every day (7 days a week) from beginning of May to end of October and from Friday to Sunday for the rest of the year. It is therefore possible to stock up with groceries and food during the weekend. Another option would be to go to one of the supermarkets on the way to Cagliari, which is roughly a 15 minutes drive. Beach bars usually open from June to September.
Both beaches are ideal for both snorkelling and scuba diving. In the village there is also a scuba diving school and it is therefore possible to learn to scuba dive. However the school also caters for proficient scuba-diver as it also organises specific guided excursions. Most noteworthy is the presence of an ancient war ship 1.5 miles away from Genn’e Mari beach. Since the ship is 56 m down the sea it it is only suitable for expert scuba divers. Thanks to its position Torre delle Stelle is the area of Sardinia that enjoys the longest summer. As such, it is said to have her own micro climate. Other amenities in the village include: tennis courts, football and basketball grounds, playground.
